Born and raised in Lima, Ohio, Jon DeCurtins pursued his passion for tennis at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a degree in Finance & Treasury Management on a tennis scholarship. After graduation, he spent several years as a Professional Tennis Instructor at Beechmont Racquet Club, Turpin Hills Swim & Tennis Club, and Anderson High School.
In 2005, Jon and his brother Brett began investing in real estate, sparking his transition into the industry. By 2007, he had left the tennis profession to earn his real estate license from Hondros College, and in 2009, he founded DeCurtins Realty, LLC. Over the next five years, Jon closed 238 transactions totaling nearly $50 million in sales, leading to a 2014 merger with ERA Real Solutions Realty, LLC—part of the global ERA brand with 43,000 agents across 37 countries and territories.
With deep expertise in the Cincinnati market, Jon has successfully closed over 750 homes, condos, and lots, averaging 50 transactions per year. His exceptional performance earned him the title of #1 Realtor in the Forest Hills School District (by volume and transactions) since 2022. He specializes in residential sales, relocations, and high-level negotiations, working with major corporate clients such as Procter & Gamble, General Electric, and Johnson & Johnson.
Jon resides in Newtown (Ivy Hills neighborhood), within the Forest Hills School District, with his wife Alysha and their two sons. His commitment to delivering outstanding results, combined with his in-depth market knowledge and client-focused approach, makes him the go-to real estate expert in Anderson Township and Greater Cincinnati.

MY HOBBIES
As you may have read previously, Jon comes from a big tennis family that led him to play for the University of Cincinnati. At the end of his sophomore year, the UC informed the coach (his brother Brett) and the team that they were ending the program (Title XI ruling). Jon immediately began teaching tennis part time while finishing his degree. After graduation and 8 years (2000-2008) of professionally instructing others he now just plays for fun with his family and friends. He is an avid golfer and loves to play at our club, Ivy Hills Country Club.
